First Lab Practical

Today is the first day we did our Microbiology lab and have to perform each and every step in the procedure. One by one in front of our lecturer to get 8 marks for the lab report. Can you imagine how nervewrecking it is???! Fuhh


Even a simple step could make you lose 1 mark. And for students like me, one mark is beyond precious! Only now I learnt that sterilization is a no kidding process. Even how you hold and open the universal bottle matters! I thought it was ridiculous at first to lose 1 mark just bcause you held the bottle using two hands lol.

And hellyeah everything need to be sterilized so that you can cultur your sample successfully. In anyway, it was a good experience to be able to do advanced lab experiments rather than just playing around, experimenting with dilute solutions huhu :)

My hands were shaking like crazy once I have to perform the experiment jn front of my lecturer. This is some of the early experiments. Cant imagine how I'll be doing with those tougher ones. I hope I'm good. Huhu.
